A Winter Maternity Session at Bear Mountain Inn
Kristin and Matthew’s winter maternity session at Bear Mountain State Park felt calm and full of anticipation. The landscape was quiet and peaceful around the cozy Bear Mountain Inn. The lake wrapped around us as we walked the paths nearby. It was a cold day, but the light made everything feel warm. Snow and bare trees created a soft, neutral backdrop. Kristin wore a stunning red sparkly dress that stood out beautifully against the winter tones. Matthew kept things classic, which balanced the look perfectly. Together, they brought so much warmth to the scene. As golden hour set in, the light reflected off the water and gave us the dreamiest glow.
These two are especially meaningful to photograph. I had the honor of capturing their wedding at Whitby Castle in Rye, New York, and now I get to document this next chapter. Their connection is so natural and easy. They laughed, stayed close, and fully embraced the moment. We took our time walking along the lake and soaking in the quiet beauty of the park. Every image felt soft, emotional, and full of meaning. They are expecting a baby boy soon, and you can feel the excitement in every moment. This session was such a beautiful way to celebrate their growing family.
