Jenna and Joe celebrated their engagement with their old pup, Dude, at Richard W. DeKorte Park in New Jersey.

Jenna shares:

“I knew the minute I met Joe that he was the one, but little did I know that it was actually The Dude who would steal my heart! Joe got The Dude prior to us dating from from a friend he served with while still in the Marines. So I was a little nervous coming in as an adopted dog-mom. However, it didn’t take long before The Dude was so welcoming, loving, and accepting of me as a new addition, that I felt like he had always been part of my life. We’re lucky to have The Dude in our life because his big personality always keeps us active, grounded, silly, & of course smiling. There is no way we could possibly exclude The Dude from our wedding because he is part of our family and couldn’t imagine a life without him in it. The way I see it, The Dude taught us the most important lesson of all and a key component to a lasting marriage, unconditional love.”
