a little about me
New Jersey and the East coast has been my fond home for most of my life. Nevertheless, once I started college, I’ve found myself exploring outside the familiar trails of the Catskill mountains (although I still make it a point to visit every autumn). From the roaring shores of Acadia National Park in Maine to the surreal red rocks of Las Vegas Nevada, my appreciation for life outside the Tristate area grew. Although Loveland Pass in Colorado took my breath away, my favorite trip has to be Italy. With my mother and brother, we road a gondola through the calm waters of Venice and strolled along the peaceful shoreline of Lake Como. If you ever go to Italy, I can’t recommend Varenna enough (great for elopements too wink wink) !
I will happily drink a cinnamon cappuccinos at 11pm, sit on the edge of cliffs in full content, and spend any free time I have enjoying the outdoors.
I am a proud climate activist.
Even before I had the pleasure of traveling around this beautiful Earth, environmentalism has always been pivotal to my identity. Since college, I have been involved in climate activism through a wide range of manners. Over the years I have organized creative projects to artistically address climate issues, I have volunteered at local nonprofits, as well as participated in countless clean-ups (read here). After creating Dawnpoint Studios, I knew I wanted to incorporate sustainability into my business.
Is it a common pillar for a photographer? No.
Is it a deeply important one for me and some of my couples who share the same spirit? Absolutely.
I’ll climb mountains for you!
(no exaggeration)
THIS IS ABOUT YOU.
You are the main character(s). You are the reason I burst with excitement, the reason I run home to edit images, and the reason why I love my job. I want to properly represent you and your story with understanding and authenticity. So, this is my vow to you: I will show the best of you, make you forget about the camera, and most importantly, effortlessly be yourself.
