Jay & Ben’s journey starts in med school as they were both studying for their MD-PhD at at Vanderbilt. When they weren’t hard at work, Jay says, “We both loved the outdoors, and we talked about everything under the sun while hiking and kayaking.” Although they have a grand love for adventure, they decided to have an intimate wedding in Ben’s family backyard tucked away in Lancaster Pennsylvania. It was very important that Jay’s family be present as this would be the first time her parents finally met Ben due to their international living situation.
